Deleting Mailchimp (and other solutions) require deleting the System solution

I am currently trying to delete some solutions in order to clean up our Dynamics CRM (on-premise)

But I cannot uninstall some solution, it results in a error message that some component/attribute is required by the System solution.
Mailchimp is one of those, the message is "This solution cannot be uninstalled because the 'Attribute' with id '1d9fe874-221d-eb11-80c5-00505690c158(activityid)' is required by the 'System' solution."

I think that the activityid is a attribute which should exist in the system solution by itself, so the message doesnt make sense.
When using the "Managed Solution Deletion Tool" of the XrmToolBox, it says "This solution has no dependent solutions and can be deleted immediatly"

What do you need to do to delete this solution?

    Hi Max8,

can you provide more information about the exact used D365 application/s and the IDE used for deinstalling the solutions? Basically, find the following answers below:

The error "This solution cannot be uninstalled because the 'Attribute' with id '1d9fe874-221d-eb11-80c5-00505690c158(activityid)' is required by the 'System' solution" means that the solution you're trying to uninstall contains a component (in this case, a custom attribute) that is still required by the system or another solution.

    This typically happens when:
    - a managed solution introduced a custom attribute (like activityid)
    - that attribute is now referenced by the System solution or another dependent managed solution
    - because of this dependency, Dynamics 365 blocks the uninstallation to prevent breaking the system

    To resolve it,
    - Identify and remove dependencies (troubleshooting e.g. with log file and component ID; If the referencing solution is custom and removable, uninstall it first)
    and/or
    - Remove the dependency in the Source Environment (remove the reference if possibe; Export the solution as an upgrade and import the updated solution back into the target environment)

    Rg,

    Alexander

*Due to the complex and different possibilities of deploying Dynamics 365 I highly recommend not to setup the application without some expert/partner or support. (For more information contact me under anassl@inno-solutions.info or visit www.inno-solutions.de)
