Unable to post invoices in the payment journal

I am unable to post vendor payments in the vendor payment journal. I was previously able to post payments, but now my Post and Post in Batch categories are greyed out. The Settle transactions and the Payment Status is also greyed out. Can you please guide me to where these functions can be turned on again? The other members of our finance team are also unable to post these vendor payments.

I have attached the file for your review.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Unable to post invoices in the payment journal

Hi @KS-12091835-0,

As per the screenshot, it looks like only the line was created and the vendor was not selected in the Account field on the line. Once you select a vendor in the Account field and click Save, the Settle transactions and Payment status button will be enabled.

The Post button behavior depends on workflow settings. If workflow is enabled, it will remain disabled until the workflow is approved. If no workflow is enabled, the Post button should be available once the line entry is completed.

Unable to post invoices in the payment journal

Have you enabled workflow recently? Could you go on the payment journal header and check if thee workflow button is appearing for you to submit it?

You can also check the workflow setup from the journal names

And second question, can you click on Validate and Simulate Posting?

And a third question, has there been any security change in your profiles/accounts?
