yes, the IV30300 table does have the historical (posted) transaction data, but it won't tell you the actual stock quantity in a site at a given date (which was your original question). Of course, using the data in this table, you could extrapolate the stock quantities at a given date.

IV30300 contains all the needed information, but you need to consider the cost adjustment transactions that dropped with Zero cost, zero quantity and with only extended cost value.
How about IV30300. is not it suppose to have all the historical transactions?

I don't believe there is a table that stores this exact data.
You will want to look at IV00102 - Item Quantity Master, and IV10200 - Inventory Goods Received Work, which lists each stock receipt and the quantities remaining in stock for each of these receipts (in effect the FIFO table).
Also worth reviewing the SEE30303 table which the Historical Inventory Trial Balance report is built around.
