I would like to remove the two shortcuts shown above with the red arrows pointing at them. However they are not located in the Navigation Pane lists. They are also not listed in Classic client's Object Designer-->Page Designer (Role Center)-->Action Designer. Where can I find them to remove them?

    Edward,

When you design the role center page and goto view - > page actions and there is subtype called HomeItems and that is where those are defined.  You can add or delete actions from there.

    Hi Edward,

It's possible those menu items are linked to Cues that are part of a page part on the Home screen.  If that is the case then unfortunately there is no way to remove them from the menu unless you modify the page part and remove the Cues.

    Regards,

    Rob

Under the HomeItems, it does not list the menu items I am trying to remove. It shows other items such as Picking but when I hide that I still see items like Picking Docs - Today.

It's strange because it is a mixture of items that are found in the Home area and other items that are not.

How do I go about modifying the page part to remove Cues?

    Edward,

I think those may be saved views, try to open the profile in configuration mode and see if you can delete them by customizing navigation pane.

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../dd354992.aspx

If those are defined as cues on the main page then check the pages which are added on the role center page, go to each page and check if those are define as source expressions on the pages.

I am only working in Config Mode (RTC) right now for this profile.

Are those items defined as Cues on the main page if so, please follow the below steps

If those are defined as cues on the main page then check the pages which are added on the role center page, go to each page and check if those are define as fields on the pages, then delete the field from the page.

    Hi Edward,

To modify a page part, hover over the top right cover with a mouse until the Gear icon appears, click on it, and select Customize.

Alternatively, go to the system menu (top left corner) and select Customize, then in the window that appears click on the page part box in the Role Centre layout area and click on Customize Part.

Both will open a new window where you can add/remove/rearrange the Cues.

Yes this finally fixed it. Also, I have to restart NAV for changes to the Home links to go into effect, it doesn't remove it automatically when I remove them from the Cues page.
