Version control: xpo was not correctly imported in a previous synchronization

i have a problem...i want to add to Version Control an object but i get

The error that:" The file .xpo was not correctly imported to the model store in a previous synchronization."

Warning: this object is already checked out to.
On every machine this object is not checked in..
how can i solve it???

    Regarding problems with synchronization, open the synchronization log and rerun failed objects.

    I don't understand what you mean by *adding* an object that is already checked out, therefore it's clearly been already added.

    Check synchronization log as Martin has mentioned, it is in the SysVersionControlSynchronizeLog table if you want to see it directly. Also incorrect checkins could be fixed from Visual Studio Team Explorer, by deleting the object there which has not been added correctly, after which you may attempt to re-add the object in the AX AOT (once your synchronization log has been cleaned up).

    It sounds like you have the check-out policy to disable multiple check-outs.

    If you try to open Visual Studio and check that item out, it should give you more information.  If it allows you to check it out, undo checkout and see if that works.

    If that doesn't work, try to disable version control in AX, and clear your local repo folder (the insides of it) and redo the sync.
