Use of Data Exports option under Periodic Tasks in General Ledger

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to know the use of "Data Exports" option under Periodic Tasks in General Ledger in D365 F&O

On clicking the same, it is asking to select a format mapping, and i am not able to select any format mapping , not even after synchronizing the configurations.

Hey,

Its is basically the electronic reporting, before you use this function, you need to download and configure the data model

I am assuming you are in some European LE?

Are you just exploring it or its a real requirement?

If requirement, share the country name, we shall redirect you to correct documentation from MS, you can configure easily.

Hi,

We also need to export bulk transaction data from ERP as requested by the audit team. I am wondering if the "Data Exports" option under Periodic Tasks in General Ledger can help with this. But I am stuck on format mapping, I would appreciate if anyone can guide on this.
