Hello,
We currently have 100 users running Dynamics AX 2009 SP2. The users connect to DAX by means of a published application through Citrix.
Everything seems to work except outlook integration. For example, if you were to open an sales order confirmation, chose to print, chose the send to as e-mail recipient, enter the required email account and press OK, your prompted to log in, and then you're presented with an outlook email with the confirmation as an attachment. If you try to select a recipient you don't have access to the global address book, only your personal contacts, it's as if outlook can't see the exchange server. If you manually enter an email addrees (or select one from your personal contacts) and press send, you receive an Microsoft Outlook error stating: 'Unknown error has occured".
To test to make sure Citrix was the issue we tried the same thing but using only the client, thus taking citrix out of the equation. If you follow all the same steps mentioned above you'll be able to access the global address book and the email will send properly.
I'm curious if anyone else has had this issue, or if anyone who is using Citrix has successfully configured their Citrix servers/AOSs to be able to send using outlook.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Clay
