Full-Time/Part-Time

Hi,

Using Position Types (in a Position) I saw that it is possible to define if a user will be working part-time or full-time.

However, if the user won't be full-time, is it possible to set the hours that he will be working?

If so, where?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Ana Alves.

    Hi Ana,

This is typically stored as part of the FTE:

The FTE is used as part of standard reporting (analysis), can be used for exampe in the leave processes.

the working hours are typically not maintained.. but if wanted could be stored in a custom field.

Please let me know if this answers the question.

    Hi Erik de Boer,

    Thanks for your reply.

Using FTE we can only set the percentage. Is there a way to set 8 am to 12 pm, for example?

    Best regards,

    Ana Alves.

    Hi Ana,

    Yes and no.. ;)

Yes: you can assign a calendar to the employee where you are identifying that the employee is working from 8am to 12 pm.

You can do this with the calendar on the employee:

and from there identify working hours:

(these are the same calendars that are used when you are requesting leave).

    However, the no..

This is not something you can easliy to report how much hours someone is working (in his contract) etc.

If that is a hard requirement to maintain, I would suggest to create a custom field somewhere to store this..

    Does this help?
