SSRS report issues

ReportReport
Posted on by 133
Hi all,

I have made changes in 2 SSRS reports around 2 days ago, layout related changes and some logic/field changes. Everything was working perfectly. But today I have to add one more field in the same report. I made the change and deployed the report. But I am not able to see my new change or even previous changes.

I restarted SSRS services, deleted caches. I don't know what more I can do. There are no error, build is error free.

here in below image I have shown what change I have made, 1st is I have made fonts bigger for that field. 2nd is I have added a field at the last in page.

//
And the output of it is as below, where the font of Receipt field is not changes as well as in 2nd point, the last field is not visible. Also above that last field, there is an image of logo which size I changed, that is also not showing there in front end.

//

does anyone know what I can do here? please suggest something.

    Add a dummy text field somewhere on report with some text and see if that get rendered when you deploy

    I added a test field in header, it is showing. But why not the other changes?

    Hi Bhagyashree,

    Have you closed and reopened the report design?
    After reopening have you checked whether the changes are there?
    Is the controller class is mapped to the design you are working on?
    If none of them work, please try to restart the server and then check.

    Thanks,
    Girish S.

    Such kind of issues happen with SSRS report. So, whenever report is changed, report design should be closed and build and deploy and then it should be tested if it is working. If it is not, then restart the SSRS services. Sometimes these also doesn't work. Model build and sync should be done to fix this issue.

    Hi all,

    thanks for your replies.
    It was refresh issue. It comes up sometimes, but currently it's working.
