Security Filters on a Customer Card

Hey Everyone,

I am trying to setup a security filter on the customer card for the field BLOCKED, I do not want users to be able to edit/modify this dropdown in the customer card.  So if we block a customer for delinquent pay/billing issues, I do not want one of my salespeople unblocking them.  I still want the user to have access to modifying the customer card, I tried the security filter BLOCKED with all, ship, or invoice.  That worked except I could not modify any other field on a customer card once that was applied.  Any help would be excellent!

    Hey Thomas,

    Security Filters works on record level. Not sure if that is what you want. Seems you want to basically allow access to certain fields (Blocked in this case) to certain users. As far as I know, this is not standard in BC. You can check out kepty.cz/.../ who wrote a clever small extension where you can configure who has access to what specific fields.
