Product Description show as lookup while selecting items on SalesTable form

Dear all,

I have requirement to display product description field beside product name to show as a lookup and filter must be enabled while adding items on sales form. Could you please help me with examples.

Hi Faqru,

The product description is a multi line note type field. In that case the rows will be very high and the lookup will be useless for users.

As Andre mentioned, adding product description in lookup won't be a good idea but if they still want, you can refer 'lookupItem' method of InventTable table.

The fastest field to search on, not surprisingly, is the Search field because it is indexed for that purpose. Maybe use that field for a 'condensed' description.
