Hi All,

Quick question that I am hoping someone can answer for me. Does a user have to have POWERUSER role or be logged in as sa in order to access the Visual Basic Editor window?

I have taken a look at security tasks and the only customisation tools available for GP are customisation maintenance, report writer and modifier.

Or is access to this granted via the windows user account?

Any help ASAP would be fantastic as we need to figure this out ASAP.

Kind Regards,

Nia.

    Hi Nia,

Pretty sure this is under the Customization task for saving. You can check by creating a dummy user with limited access and the customization security task. Then open any GP window, and hit Crtl-F11, then Alt-F11. This should add the window to the GP object in the VBA editor.
