HI all,
I have a trial instance of Dyanmics 365 CRM and I am trying to understand what Unified interface and how to access it.
I am following the steps on this page https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/about-unified-interface which takes me to https://*********.crm6.dynamics.com/main.aspx page of my CRM. But when I click on 'Gear' icon and click on 'Advanced Settings', it takes me to this page xxxxx.crm6.dynamics.com/main.aspx which displays a warning message saying 'Web client experience for security settings is being deprecated Please use the Power Platform admin center to leverage the latest experience and manage security settings' .
Does this mean I not accessing the unified interface?
Thanks,
Aarnav
Hey Aarnav.
This image shows the previous (Known as "Classic") visualization of data. This happens anytime you access settings. Microsoft is working on improving this and also moving this setting page to Unified interface. The message points to using PowerPlatform Admin Center, since one f the goals is that Dynamics Administrators manage the environment from PPAC and not login-in to the enviroments.
If you access other apps (Sales Hub, Customer Service Hub), you'll notice that User Interface is different and there's a different layout on buttons & Navigation, meaning those are already on Unified Interface
Thanks for your response Guido.
The URL forces the Unified interface to render but I am still getting that message when I click on 'Advanced Settings' from the 'Gear' icon drop down. Can we make that message disappear so it goes to power platorm admin center?
Access your instance by the url
