Strange Production Order Behavior

Hello,

I'm experiencing some strange behavior when trying to process Production Orders. One part in particular is giving me grief. All others seem to behaving normally.

When I create the released production order, and try to create the pick all of the components come through to the pick but one.

The part in question has qty on hand, it is not reserved, it is on no other component lines, it is not blocked.

In my test environment I added 5x the amount req via positive adj. and it still will not generate on the pick line.

If I do a manual warehouse movement and move the part PD IN it will properly consume in the build.

If I put the part on sales order and create a warehouse shipment it will appear on that pick.

If I add the part to another build, it behaves the same way. It's like it is available everywhere, except for it wont generate on the pick line of any build, no other parts are affected.

Thanks,

Dustin

    Hi

    A few though here

    1) is this purchase or MFG item? if it is MFG what is a MFG policy? Also to double check is this an Inventory or non-inventory (in item card or sku)?

    2) What is the flushing method in this item?

    3)  Does this part has SKU for the same location that you use it in BOM? if yes what are the settings?

    1. Was the answer, someone else had created these part and the manufacturing policy Make-to-Order was causing the issue.

    Thanks,

    Dustin
