Calculation Problem in Declining Balance Method - Fixed Asset

I am using MSGP Version 10.0. While working in Fixed Asset Management, calculation of Fixed asset depreciation as per Monthly declining balance mehtod does not show correct figures. I am depreciating the item for the first time. Application shows rather depreciation calculations on the straight line method. Manuals say that exact calculation will be available after one fiscal year. Projection for the fixed asset also show the same result. Is there any work around in application.
