Fonts used in email element buttons changes after sending e-mail

Hi,

We have problems with clients receiving e-mails in Outlook. After emails are sent, the Button text changes to another font and size. For emails we use Arial, also for Buttons, but after receiving the email fonts are changed to inherit

Are there any suggestions, how we can fix it?

With regards,
JEkaterina

    Hi Jekaterina,

Not all email clients support custom fonts, and therefore the font may be converted into a different font when it lands in the inbox. However the fact that this is happening with the Arial font seems odd.

It may be worth verifying that the email client you are using supports this font first before troubleshooting further.

I hope you find this answer helpful, if so please mark it as verified.

    Kind regards,
    Fiona

    Hi,

We analyzed your issue and did not reproduce your issue in the test environment (Microsoft 365 Outlook).

Have you tried setting the button font to another font? Does the issue still occur?

At the moment we prefer that this is a bug in the product itself, we will test it further and I will reply if there are any new developments.

I hope my answer is helpful to you! If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

    Best Regards,

Hi - I'm having this exact same issue with outlook. I am using arial but when I test to my own inbox, it defaults to inherit.

Weirdly, when I test with a colleague who is using  the same version of outlook, arial is displayed.

    Matt.
