Auto Text in CALC Column Header

It appears that the auto text e.g. @FiscalYear cannot be used in "CALC" column header (Column Definition) with Management Reporter 2 SP2.

This had been flagged as feature request for future MR upgrade. Has this been implemented in MR2012 (MAR2 FP2)?

The Auto Text codes in MR only work for FD and WKS columns. Codes like @FiscalYear use the Fiscal Year and Period cells in the column to get their information. Since CALC columns do not use the Fiscal Year and Period, @FiscalYear does not work with CALC column. This is documented in the MR Online help, under Building blocks and reports | Column definitions | Apply formatting | Create column headers | Column header autotext codes.

It is true that you could use the auto headers on CALC columns in FRx. FRx wasn’t designed to do this, but you could add a period or year to get around it. With MR, a lot of the design rules you could get around in FRx are now enforced. There aren’t plans for a hotfix, since that program is designed to work this way. There is a suggestion to add this functionality. You can vote on it here:
