Has anyone managed an audit custom report say for example i changed the price of an item and i want to have a report that shows who made the changes. I already can report on the previous and the new price or cost but am unable to link it to a cashier who made the changes. Kindly help. Thanks.

    Hello Echerus,

    Thank you for your question.

    RMS does not natively track who made the changes to items in the RMS database, so there is not a way to report on this within RMS.

    There may be a third-party application that will provide this functionality.

    Thanks Scott, but have you got an idea what the auditlog table can help? I can see User ID, Opration, RecordID, etc. I thought this could help if it isn't a dormant table. Meanwhile I was thinking of creating a hook (dll) through itemupdate - not sure if this will help but want to try. This info is becoming crucial in the day to day running of the audits in rms.
