Hi,

When running Invalid Users report from SystemAdmin > Users > Invalid Users, there is account with message /Telemetry id does not match object id from Microsoft Entra ID/, and this is the admin account.

What should we do when encounter this ? Should we import again ? and I'm wondering why the admin account is listed as Invalid user.

Thanks

    Hi,
If the IDs don't match, we recommend that you delete and then reimport the user.
1.Verify that a user who has the corresponding email address exists in your Microsoft Entra ID.
2.Delete the user from finance and operations apps.
3.Reimport the user. For more information, see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/fin-ops/sysadmin/create-new-users
The documentation about invalid users mentions that you can view the detailed reasons in System Management > Invalid Users. This invalidity reason is mentioned in the invalidity reason given in your screenshot. You can check this document, and there are other reasons for invalid users. Hi,

Based on microsoft documentation, it seems you need to delete the user and import again.

    Delete and re-import.

To import, your user must exist in your EntraId Tenant. Either created there or invited as a guest.

    Hi guys,

Just to confirm, will there be a problem by deleting this Admin account ?
I got this error while deleting ->

Also still curious why there is such issue for admin account.

    Thanks.

    Hi,
The meaning of the prompt is to remind you to handle batch jobs when disabling or deleting users. Each batch job runs in the context of the user within the system. If the user is disabled, batch jobs bound to that user will be unable to execute and fail. In addition, if a user is deleted, any batch jobs bound to that user will also be deleted! You can view this blog post: How to Handle Batch Jobs When Disabling or Deleting a User in D365FO - Alex Meyer (alexdmeyer.com)
    Best Regards,
    Hana
