Printing financial statement trial balance.

Whenever I print a financial statement trial balance, there are line missing at the page breaks. When the same report is printed to the screen, the pages displayed overlay each other. I've changed the printer set up between portrait and landscape but this has help correct the issue. What are the proper print settings for this report?

    Hi Scott,

Go to MDGP | Tools | Setup | System | Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports.  Select the ID then select GP for Product then Reports for Type.

Expand the Financial series then look for the name of the report you're printing.  Expand it.

There will be 2 options there, one has (Modified).  If the one with Modified is selected, then that means you're using a modified report.

Let me know if you have further questions.

I did not modify the report but it could have been modified before I started with the organization. Is there a way that I can tell if it has been modified?

Our set-up is not currently configured to send to a PDF, so I can’t test that situation. Originally, it did not work and I change a setting and it worked. I thought that I changed it from portrait to landscape but that does not seem to the solution.

    Thanks,

    Scott

    Hi Scott,

Do you get the same results when you print to screen?  Send to PDF?

If you don't, then clearly it is a printer issue, which at some point, would be a trial-and-error testing for you until you get the proper settings.

If yes, then there is something wrong with your report. Has it ever worked before?

    Kind Regards,

Sounds like either a corrupt report or perhaps it's a modified report that isn't formatted properly.  Do you know if it's a modified report?
