Fiscal integration

Posted on by 35

After setting up the fiscal integration parameters in commerce, and enabled the fiscal integration, when starting a transaction in POS I get the error message:

"Fiscal register is not avaliable. Continue?"

Has anyone seen this, and managed to find out the reason?

I have followed this guide for setting up for Norway:

    Hi Ramune!

I've in contact with one of your co-workers, and there was an issue with the certificate. We solved it today!

    Hi Trond,

the text of this error message is a translated one or it is an original in English? Could you send a screenshot of this error message in English?

Did you check also this doc as below:

Thanks a lot for your replies!

I read that the connector should be added to hardware profile, and it doesn't say it should not, even though it's an internal connector. But it's not possible to find it when adding a line to Fiscal peripherals - the profile can't be found in the lookup. I can just assume it's because it's an internal profile.

The rest of the setup seems ok.

    RE: Fiscal integration

I am not familiar with the setup of internal connectors on the CRT.   I have used cloud external service via the hardware station.

I would suggest studying the Fiscal Integration Service (FIS) on your Commerce Scale unit and any extensions that need to be modified.

    also docs.microsoft.com/.../emea-nor-fi-deployment

Also make sure your hardware profile and functionality profile for the register is set up with the correct connector profile.

    It's an internal (CRT) connector.

    RE: Fiscal integration

I'm not familiar with the Norway set up specifically,  but again your error "Fiscal register is not available" will depend on what connector type you have configured:

For devices or services that are connected to a Hardware station or present in the local network, select Local.

    For external services, select External.

For internal connectors in the Commerce Runtime (CRT), select Internal.

    Select a connector location:

If the connector is located on the Hardware station, select Hardware station.

If the connector is located on the POS register, select Register.

    RE: Fiscal integration

    Hi TrondD,

There could be many reasons why your Fiscal Register is not available.

It would depend on what integration you are using to communicate with the fiscal register and what country are you setting up Fiscal connector for?
    * Cloud, Local, CRT

See  https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/commerce/localizations/fiscal-integration-for-retail-channel and add more detail to your question.

    Thanks.
