Is there any way to create and approve a worksheet once, and attach any workflow or shedule with it to run for daily/weekly or monthly basis. And it will download or request required data automatiacally at its sheduled time and repeat this process again for next shedule automatically. There would no need to create and approve one worksheet for same process again and again.

Yes you can do this, but you will need to knew more about worksheets tables and develop query to do what you want, then create task in SQL with your schedule.
I did that an goes ok, try it your self and engoy the results.
