Processing turns off NumLock Key

We have been running our SL 2011 sp1 client through an RDP session with SQL Server 2008 R2 for about 2 years now.  Approximately 3-4 weeks ago, our server was not responding so we rebooted it.  Ever since this happened, we are experiencing strange things in SL such as the NumLock key turning itself off after the user clicks "Begin Processing" when allocating, making payment selections, billings transaction load, posting invoices and many other screens.  Does anyone have any idea on what happened or how we can fix this issue?

    Hi Kim,

    -If you RDP in to the server and open up notepad before you even launch SL, do you find that you are able to enter numeric values?

    Another case found the  issue was with their customizations, specifically calls they were making to the "SendKeys()" function.  There are a number of articles out there about it, here is one of them:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/179987

    The SendKeys function is commonly used in SL customizations to push buttons.   It may be worth checking out your customizations to see if you are using this function.

    You could try changing your customization level to standard to see if you still have the same issue.

    Might want to try a different key board.

    That's about all I could find in  old cases.
