Security Role Assignment is Slow

Does anyone know the length of time it typically takes for an assigned security role to take effect. 

In my experience it is painstakingly slow.

    Hi,

    Based on my testing and experience, security roles would take effect immediately, not take a long time. 

    But for assigning a new license, it can take CRM up to 24 hours to catch up.
