Hi,

I notice the in Navision there is this statement which was done by my predecessor.

I tried to look for it, but doesn't seems to have this information on the internet

"Note: Interest %2 will be charge "

Initially, I thought it meant Interest of 2% will be charge. But this is not what it means.

It is trying to call out a data using "%2". I would like to know what does %2 means.

It seems to be related to C/AL Data Types.

Thank you.

    Adding % before a number is used to add data into text strings. One place that uses it in standard is deferral templates: docs.microsoft.com/.../finance-how-defer-revenue-expenses

    In the docs article you will see how changing the number after % results in different parts of a date. It’s used as a feature heavily across the standard code. For custom scenarios you might have it in place for error messages or report captions.

    Crude example:

    Message(‘Add in the number %1, 100);

    The %1 is replaced with a text representation of the number 100
