Dynamics 365 Home Not Working Correctly

Hi guys,

Our dynamics home page doesn't seem to be working correctly. Usually when I click on to Dynamics 365 after logging into Office 365 I am taken to a home page, which displays my apps. From here I used to be able to see both my instances of CRM (production and sandbox) as well as an option to 'Find more apps that work with Dynamics 365'.

However, now when I log into dynamics 365 it will begin loading the home page but rather than staying on the home page it will immediately redirect me to my production version of CRM. I get a glimpse of my apps before I'm redirected and it seems that sandbox has diapered, which is not the case as I can still access sandbox by typing in the URL.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Thanks,

Ciaran

    Hello Ciaran,

MS has changed the Navigation in the new release.

Once your system has been updated from Dynamics CRM Online to Dynamics 365 Online, you will log in and see Dynamics 365 in your upper left corner.

If you click on Dynamics 365, you will see a new navigation menu, that breaks your CRM system into different segments.

If you’ve customized your CRM, your “Dynamics 365 – custom” area, will be under the portion with the Dynamics 365 logo. However, if you click on a functional area, like “Sales,” you will be brought to an area of the system that focuses on the sales functional areas.

Currently MS has not published user guide of Dynamics 365 Online. However you can keep checking this link as it will be published here once it is available.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks.

Thanks for getting back to me Varadarajan.

We have two instances of CRM and both have a production and sandbox version. However only one let's me navigate to the screen below.

The other doesn't have a tab for the sandbox version so immediately redirects me to the production version. I need to be able to get to the screen above on both instances. I think it has something to do with Sandbox no longer having a tab but I wouldn't know how to get it back. It is still live as I can access it by taking other routes.

    Hi Ciaran,

Check in System Settings if the "Show default app on landing page and in app switcher" is set to "Yes" in the Sandbox.

Thanks for the advice Nadeeja but I don't seem to have that option. My options under the general tab end at 'Use legacy form rendering'.
