Hello all,

We are looking to setup salesperson commission and want it set up in a way that commissions are only calculated for profit made.

For example, let's say a salesperson makes 10% profit commissions, 0% sales commissions.

Purchase Order = $1000

Sales Order = $1500

Profit = $500

Therefore, the commissions made by said salesperson should be $50.

Currently, when I print out the Salesperson Commission report, it calculates for both the total sale and the profit commission. Is there a way to change this?

Kasandra,

Base BC does not calculate commission based on Profit. Check out this APP as it calculates commission on Revenue or Margin.

As Steve mentioned BC base is not capable of such a task. If you are on BC SaaS you can use the following app. It has a free and paid version.
