Crystal Reports Duplex Printing Problem

(0) ShareShare

We have found that when manually selecting the printer in a Crystal Reports report and specifying duplex printing, Crystal ignores the setting and prints one-sided.  If you have your default SL printer setup for duplex printing and print to the default printer from Crystal, it prints duplex as it should.  Has anyone else encountered this?

This has been reported and we have had a few sites see some luck by applying the latest ROI.exe fix.  Many though, do not see any change with the latest fix.  It seems to depend on the printer/print-driver.  What is the version of your ROI.exe file in the SL root directory?

you can try an updated print driver or a generic print driver.

I found an article unrelated to SL and the article states that the duplex printing is a Crystal Reports bug and should be fixed in the next service pack release.
