Help Needed: Importing MT940 Bank Statement in AX 2012

Hi Community,

 

I'm currently working on importing a bank statement in MT940 format in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, but I'm struggling to find any relevant documentation, blog posts, or video tutorials that explain the process in detail.

Could someone please guide me on the following:


  1. Is MT940 format supported natively in AX 2012?

  2. If yes, what are the required steps to configure the import of MT940 bank statements?

  3. Do I need to use any specific Data Management Framework, or is it handled through Electronic Reporting?

  4. Any suggestions on sample files, setup guides, or custom development pointers (if needed)?

    It is not using data management. Electronic reporting is not present in AX 2012. That is a framework that got introduced in Dynamics 365.
