UOM rounding - Unable to invoice a Quantity (base) of 0 on Purchase Order

Hi,

We currently use Dynamics NAV 2016 and have a problem with the UOM rounding at 5 digits. 

We work in the domain of agriculture and use UOM like metric tons (base UOM) and short tons as well as bushels. A bushel of oats correspond to 0.01451 MT (with rounding).

Someone here received 2'013.76431 bushels in the inventory and the person at the payables entered 2'013.764 when entering the invoice. Now, we are stuck with a remaining 0.00031 bushel, which corresponds to 0.0000044981 MT. Because NAV rounds at 5 digits, the quantity is interpreted to be 0, so no way to invoice it.

How do we solve this?

    How did the person at payable invoiced the quantity, did he used Get receipt Lines  or some other way.

    Hi Manish,

    That person invoiced the quantity from the Purchase Order.

    We use Item Tracking on this item and, sadly, both quantities with the rounding were at 29.21972 TM (base UOM).

    So, the system never blocked the user when processing the purchase invoice even if 0.00031 bushel still remains.
