Can I dynamically add a hyperlink in a mail merge?

We have a mail merge template that is being used by a number of our sales reps. The sales reps each have a unique URL they use to send out to potential customers. Their unique URL is saved on their User record in MSCRM. We want to send out marketing pieces to prospects but we need the ability to dynamically add the user's hyperlink to a graphic on the mail merge (ex: an image saying "Click here") and cannot find a way to do this. Is this possible?

Check this post.. It is for CRM 2011 but it should work for CRM 2013 also..

The link you sent explains adding a hyperlink, which I understand just fine. My issue is that I need to populate the hyerlink field dynamically with a value stored in CRM.

You need to store the hyperlink data in a URL text field on the record/associated record.

You've been able to add it in as text since CRM 2011 Rollup 5.

But you wanted to add the hyperlink to the graphic... so that doesn't get you there

You need to customize the Ribbon. You need to add a button and add some javascript functionality to do that.

Under custom settings you will see Ribbon Workbench button. Let me know if you need more info.

You might be able to do this within the logic of an IF field in the Word template.
