Hi all, sorry for probably a simple question, what exactly does MRP consider when running?

Sales Orders

Purchase Orders

Current open Production Orders

Forecasts

On a Production Order level, does it look at all orders, so Planned, Firm Planned, Released etc

    Marley,

    MRP will consider the following:

    Sales Orders, Purchase Order, Work Orders (Planned, Firm-Planned and Released), and Forecasts. To help you here I am including a PowerPoint that I created for a training class on MRP/MPS. Hope this helps.
