Team - purpose of administrator

Hi,

what's the purpose of the "Administrator" of a team?

Does this have to be a user with a System Administrator role?

Or would this be the manager of that team from a business point of view?

Are any functionalities related to the user entered in this field?

    This does not have anything to do with being a system administrator, it's more for the team manager.

    As for functionalities you can set up workflows that notify the team administrator or assign records to the team administrator, so if the team administrator changes in the future the new one will be the one receiving these notifications or records.
