Duplicate orders created for online sales order

Hi All,

We are using AX 2012 R3 RTM and got one issue of multiple sales order creation when creating online sales order i.e real time customer order. from POS

while creation of Customer order in POS at one of the store,multiple sales order (around 14 duplicate Sales Order with same line item and customer with different number seq) are created in AX headquarters(HQ) and corresponding payment journal also posted against all sales orders.

Out of them,only one is valid against that customer. However, In store database only one transaction is there for that order which seems to be fine .

we didn't have any customization on this area...

I am not able to replicate this in test environment for debugging also

Anyone please tell me, how to address this issue or Any hot fix available for this?

Hi Nitish

I think this is a known bug. We had similar issue with both SO and TO where lines were getting duplicated. It was at the time of GRN. Vetsion was r2cu7. Please log a case with MS. Maybe a patch from MS might help.

have you got any hotfix or any solution from MS regarding above mentioned issue.. we have the same problem facing on our client.. please help us if you have got any idea....

Hi Nasir,

Take a Look in:

KB 3187456 RetailTransActionService::findDuplicateSalesOrder

does not prevent duplicated sales orders created for one customer order in ePOS

A workaround for this problem may be you increase timeout in the POS config (realtime service)

Hi Nasir/Recalde

Yeah,Microsoft gave us same KB Article to prevent duplicate sales order,

but even after applying this hotfix and increasing timeout in POS config , duplication of sales order is still happening.

please apply this hotfix on your environment and confirm whether still issue coming in yours.

1. Try Debug AX to find why de method not check if any duplicate/previous sales orders created already .

Classes\RetailTransactionServiceOrders\createCustomerOrder

and

Classes\RetailTransactionService\FindDuplicateSalesOrder

2. In Retail SDK, Try modify maxRetry variable to 1.

Retail SDK\Services Solution\SalesOrder\SalesOrder\CreateCustomerOrder

Hi Rodolfo\Everyone,

Can you please suggest exactly which timeout needs to be increased in the realtime service config file?

I see that the config file has the timeouts mentioned in a couple of places and that the times are as below.

Appreciate your help.

closeTimeout="00:01:00" openTimeout="00:01:00" receiveTimeout="00:10:00" sendTimeout="00:01:00
