Unable to login to GP

User is getting "This login failed. Attempt to log in again or contact your system administrator." We have reset her password every day this week and then she gets the same error the next day.

I would start by contacting your IT staff and see if they are enforcing a password policy that includes password expiration. There is nothing in GP that would cause this.

Unfortunately, I am part of the IT staff and we haven't changed any policies... And this is only affecting one user.

When you go to Tools->Setup>System->User is the Password Expiration box checked? If it is uncheck it.

Thanks, I'll try that. I see that it is setup for other users also but they're not having this issue... I will leave it for the time being on the other users.

Hi Joy

I wonder if this is related to the encryption algorithm and is caused be the Data Source name in the ODBC being set up differently between machines.
