how to configure the Retail Server URL on the Channel profiles?
we are configure a new Channel profile from scratch.

Are you configuring a Tier-1 (Cloudhosted environment) or a Tier-2+ environment?
If you are using a tier-1 environment, then I think that is should only be the "default" channel profile, and the property keys for Retail Server URL should like https://[Name]ret.sandbox.operations.dynamics.com/Commerce and for Cloud POS URL it should be https://[Name]pos.sandbox.operations.dynamics.com.
Please remember to initialize seed data as describedhere : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/commerce/enable-configure-retail-functionality

how to know which tier is using?
this is a production environment.
I checked the link you gave, and already Initialize the commerce parameters
I will try to manually put the URL as you give.

May I know do you initialize the CSU for this ENV?
If not, please initialize the CSU firstly.
Another suggest is genera the retail parameters from commerce parameters.
