Unable to access WebAPI in D365FFO on prem

Hi All,

I have created a Web API In ASP.NET MVC. I have made a class library to consume this Web API. But when i consumed this class library in D365FO on premise, it gives me following error:
Error: "The menu item with name could not be opened. One or more error occured."

The error details are not given. Web API is working fine when i directly hit on browser but unable to access in D365FO on premise through class library.

Can anybody tell me what we are missing here?
