Year End Tax Updates

Dear Colleagues,

We have many customers that are using payroll.  I would like to know if our customers need to be on GP 2013 or above to conform to the new Affordable Care Act.  Also, some of our customers are using Sypnio or Greenshades which have their own Affordable Care Act reporting, do we still need to upgrade those customers to GP 2013 for the new tax updates for 2015?

Thanks in Advance

John Miele

If they are using a third-party application with ACA reporting, they might be okay to stay on their current version of GP.

If they are using only GP, then they will need to be on either GP2013 or GP2015.  In addition, they will need to install the Human Resources module because that is where the ACA data is tracked.  The good news is that the HR module is now free with the Perpetual licensing.
