Error During Solution Import - Some field security permissions could not be imported because the following fields are not securable: <EntityName>: <SecuredFieldName>

Hi All,

I am getting the following error while importing FieldSecurityProfiles-

Some field security permissions could not be imported because the following fields are not securable: <EntityName>:<SecuredFieldName>

The field is enabled for Field Security. 

Any insight will be appreciated.

    I have same issue with you, Siddharth..

    Did you solve this issue? or Is any update from MS?

    Last month I import FieldSecurityProfile and everything going well.. But now Im getting error after import FieldSecurityProfiles
    "Some field security permissions could not be imported because the following fields are not securable: incident:[fieldname], incident:[fieldname]."

    Ideally this kind of issue happen when you disable certain entity field security profiles . So go to the entity fields and enable field security profile and export the solution.Try to import again.

    Hi Siddharth,

    It normally happens when a secure field in target environment has field level security on but in new solution field level security is off:

    You can take following action:

    Look for secured fields of an entity in target environment and make sure that same fields should be security enable in source environment.
