Is there any way I can trace changes on table records in AX?  I want to trace all record updates (value changes) I tried using Administration > Setup > Database log BUT the problem is it only records last update.  I want to trace all updates.

    Hi Abdallah,

Did you try to look in Administration > Inquiries -> Database Log -> History?

Yes I did, this interface is not user friendly.  I think we need to create our customized form to trace record logs in a friendly way.

    Thanks Ragin :)

Database log does track all changes along with the old and new values. If you go to a record in a table where database logging is enabled, right click and go to record info, then you can click on the database log and see a full history of changes.

Hi, You can log specific records in any table you want, Click Show All Tables then choose the Table you need, for your Example: Vendors, expand your selection and choose the records you need to Log.

    Hope this helps you.

How can I find the Unit Conversion table in the wizard? I can't find it under Inventory Mgmt > Items.

    Bruce,

You find where certain tables are in the wizard by looking at the properties of the table.  Specifically the label of the table and the security key.

In this case, table UnitConvert has a label of Unit Conversion with a security key of BasicTables

So in the wizard it is listed under Basic > Unit Conversion.
