Workflow in GP2013 Web Client

Hi

One of our consultants has been attempting to test whether the workflow processes work in the GP 2013 web client.  These are his comments:

"I have setup the GP Web Client to confirm whether it does support workflow.

While there is a “Submit for Approval” button, it does nothing.

Looks like Workflow is  not supported for GP2013 Web Client."

Does anyone know whether this is valid or if there may be something he has missed in the setup?  I can't find anything that specifically says that the workflow won't work.

If it is valid and the workflow functions are not available, does anyone know if this will work with the release of Service Pack 1?

    Can you please put a timeline on shortly since this will drive how we implement GP2013? If it's going to be a while we'd need to use Business Portal for requisitioning.

    No, this was not fixed with GP 2013 SP2.  Workflow for purchase orders and requisitions will be supported with the next release (due shortly).  Other workflow types will be coming with subsequent releases.

    Any news on whether this was fixed with SP2? I can't find any information on it when I hunt around. Thanks.

    Heather,

    It won't be supported with SP1, but work is underway to make it available in a future release.  It will likely be a 2013 SP release, so it won't be years away.

    Do you know if it is planned to be supported with SP1 or in future releases?  We have a client who is looking to upgrade to 2013 and they want to use the web client with workflow.  We would like to be able to give them as much relevant information as we can.
