Hi All,

Our customer is using call center order, we create a payment method for Credit Card. However they do not want to have direct integration for authorization. When we try to add the new credit card, system will prompt the payment service need to be set up. When we try to use test connector and wanted to set it as default payment services, there is a msg display below and the flag cannot set to active.

"A provider's configuration must be valid before it is marked active."

How can we do manual authorization of credit card in call center without the payment service?

Hi,

What do you mean by manual authorization? Like your call center users have credit card terminal device and enter card number there + from D365 no logic is needed to do authorization?

If this is your scenario, you can create your Connector that will not have authorization logic inside, but will generate required authorization properties and return it back to D365.

Most probably it's not possible to skip Connector creation, because it's a part of D365 card payment architecture.

I faced a same issue when I add

When I try activate "Default processor for new credit cards" options this message appear:

"A provider's configuration must be valid before it is marked active."

Simple - setup the CC payment method as a 'cash' type and do the auth off system?

Hi Sharfaraz,

Go to the electronic payment types menu and make sure that you have mapped a payment journal against each card type.
