Excel file upload option in form

Hi All,

1. I'm working in excel upload functionality where I have to create a form which browse the file and will have two field parameters which user will select after uploading excel file.

2. A form is created with form pattern "Dialog - basic".

So how could I use file browse option in the form. Please help me out with the form structure which I can use for this scenario.

Hi Aimon,

You can use FileUploadBuild for this. Please check this blog on how it can be used for importing data from excel.

Hi Aimon,

If you are using a bulk import it is always recommended to go through Data Management framework.

OR With D365 you have Excel add-ins also which you can easily embedded in your forms. This link will give you an overview.

Now for your above requirement you need a fileuploadcontrol in Dialog-basic form.
