Hi. We're using D365 FO and our sales team needs the system to show for each user only the sales orders created by himself. This is to keep each one's sales separate and unknown to the rest of the team, except for the manager. Please suggest the best option and any out of the box solutions, if available. I'm presently doing this by the advanced filter / sort option but anyone can still remove the advance filter and get it back again. It would work if I could disable the advanced filter / sort options while retaining the regular filters for personalization. Any suggestions?
You can achieve this via customization.
- Crete a query and put a range on the createdBy field.
- Duplicate the sales order display menu item and specify the query created.
- Use security configuration to assign the menu item to users.
