Hi all,

I have edited a form CustOpenTransReverse, and added Lookup and String Edit (i added for test, no datasource for string edit)

Lookup is working in Sys admin and can edit the stringedit, but when I test it with users with role (Accounts receivable payments clerk), it is showing as like disabled, or not allow to be edit, lookup cannot be seen also. See screenshot:

I have looked on code and the Data Source allowedit is yes, also no code with allowedit or enabled to false.

I have also looked in the Role/privilege but nothing found to disable the new controls.

Also this is working for R3, can edit the lookup and stringedit, only not working for R2 environment when i test.

Any clue on this how to enable the new controls i made in for users? Any comment is appreciated. thanks

    Chel,

Can you check if these controls or the group where these controls are added do have the 'NeededPermission' property set to 'Manual'? In that case, you have to change this property or add the form control to the privilege or security role.
