    Hello NDingankar22,

System has a priority which price should be used first.

The price on manage cost takes precedence over the price on item master.

And now you need to create a new price on manage cost which is same as item master to cover the previous price on manage cost.

    Hi Matt,

    Greetings

Thank you for taking time out for replying my question

Does it impact anything-If i just edit the product and put the cost in Manage cost if i want the same cost on BOM journal?

    Hi Nazrat,

What do you want to achieve here, because all of you BOM transactions will be based on your running average cost price.

That is before inventory close is run, the system calculates a running average cost price that is typically used when issue transactions are posted.

If you put the price up your manage cost price tab, you can use the BOM calculation page to calculate the cost of a manufactured item and generate an associated item cost recording with a costing version.

For more information you can see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/supply-chain/cost-management/bom-calculations

Please mark YES against the answers that help you. Thanks

    Warm Regards,

    Zain

Which purchase cost -the last one or a specific order or ……..?

if you are buying to a specific order then consider use of marking
