Hello everyone,
Is there a possibility to remove terminated and deleted workers from Person list in Users?
We would like terminated workers not to appear in the list at all.
Is that possible?
Regards,
Teodora
Are you asking if you can delete records from System Administration>Users>Users?
Hi Teodora,
Terminated workers are not deleted from Dynamics 365, they get a valid-to date. For that reason, they are still available in the application.
Can you tell which exact "list" you are referring to?
Hi TeodoraS,
A bit background on what happens when we terminate worker. The STATUS field in HCMEmploymentDetail gets updated to Terminated for the particular worker.
There is a relation between HCMEmploymentDetail with HCMEmployment. HCMEmployment has a relationship with HCMWorker (that stores worker records).
From Worker table(HCMWorker), we can either make some code modification to delete the worker record on termination or we can add additional condition wherever we view Worker list that we do not want to see the worker records with Status = Terminated.
When we create a new user in Sys Admin > User(SysUserInfoPage), we get an option to select Person from the lookup too. As mentioned above, we use any of the above to complete our requirement.
I hope this answers your question.
Kind Regards,
Rocky
