Customer maintenance screen

We updated to dynamics sl 2018.  The customer maintenance screen now has an update icon on the screen which previous screens didn't have.  I can't delete it.

When I try to save my changes I get this message:

When I try to open it again the VBA page opens and stops on Update1_OnUpdate which we added to save the users input.  Apparently the new customer maintenance screen already has an Update1_OnUpdate.  How can I fix this problem?

Any help is appreciated.

I had to delete the update1_OnUpdate, save the form and then select the update1 object and enter the code.
