SSRS : use of different datasource in a gird in SSRS report

Hello,

I would like to know that in ssrs report, can we use multi data set in "single grid"? and how ? If I can get some reference or example .

    Hi aayushii,

    No, I guess you cannot access multiple dataset fields in the single grid. Because the Tablix property will be set for the whole table not for individual text box.

    But you can use the First function to get only the first value in the dataset. Refer to standard report PurchPackingSlip where it uses Header and Line table.

    To use First function - Select text box - Expression - Datasets - Select the dataset name - On the values select the required field - By default it will have syntax as First(Fields!FieldName.value,"DatasetName")
