How can I restrict what a client see in the Subject Tree (case)?

I creating a customer portal where I would like my clients to only see products relevant to them in the Subject tree drop down when logging issues.

I have products entity related to the account. How best can i design this?

    Subject is so limited functionality, it won't work nicely other than tree structure view. It won't even entertain the CRM security model. Forget about it.

    You can create a custom configuration entity & utilize the way you want.
